1989: the introduction of perennials
Francesco and Silvia chose a different color scheme from that used for the annuals for the perennial flowerbed in 1989: this scheme excludes bright yellow, orange, and red, while white, pink, lilac, and a range of colors ranging from blue to purple predominate.
